DataFreight live on CDS

Velta International, a long-standing user of our CFSP duty management software, went live on CDS in February 2019. As a result Velta becomes one of a handful of companies to successfully migrate to the new Customs Declaration Service platform.

Ian Brown, DataFreight’s MD said “DataFreight was selected by HMRC as one of the first five software houses to trial the initial CDS development environment back in December 2017. Since then we have been working tirelessly to produce a CDS-compliant system that could be deployed in the CDS live environment. We have worked very closely with Velta on this project, to ensure that Velta’s CDS migration progressed as seamlessly as possible. Velta’s successful migration to the CDS platform means that DataFreight is currently one of only two software houses to have implemented CDS in the live environment.”
